Elite Spring $6: OMW

The spring is a 5kg load and costs $6.00

They will also be coming out with a kit for $12.00 that includes the spring along with an unnecessary replacement  metal catch and plate for parts that no one so far has managed to break.  The kit also comes with a metal trigger which might make it worth the cost for some.

I feel this spring is worth the cost due to the fact that despite the direct plunger system the Elites are very inflexible in what springs can be used.

Factors that restrict the spring dimensions:
 

-Has to compress to ~1 inch

There very little room to house the compressed spring so it needs to have a very low coil/in and wire diameter to fit.

-Has to clear the catch

The new elite system catch engages the back of the plunger head and has very little clearance from the rod.  This restricts the outer diameter of the spring.  Too big and it will hit the catch.
