I just had to see how this thing worked.  It's much more simple than I was expecting, which is pretty impressive from a design standpoint.

I do not recommend taking this thing apart.  There are a total of 11 springs, most of which do not want to cooperate.

Just take a look at these pictures and save your self the time of having to figure out exactly how to put this thing back together to get it to work.

After removing the top the 1st tubes spring pops out at you like a jack in the box.
This exposes the tube advance arm.

Under the gray plate you see the wedge system that the arm uses to advance the drum.  The other tube disc pusher upper things are still held down by the orange plate.

In the center of the drum there is a torsion spring that turns the drum as each tube runs out of ammo

The little wheel shown here attached to the disc pusher upper thing rides along one of the bars on the left until the tube it is out of ammo.  Once the wheel reaches that height it goes over the bar and the torsion spring spins the drum to the next position.  Really great design.

This is the mech on the bottom that is engauged bu the "unload" button.  There is a wedge that pushes it out and allows the torsion spring to spin.

This is the torsion spring.  If you are trying to close up the drum and its not sitting correctly this is the reason.  If you fully disassemble the drum you will have to insert the ends of the spring into the base shown here and and the center of the inner drum and then wind the spring again so it will advance the drum properly.
