Elite Draw Extention & Spring compression (with recon to retaliator conversion)
These mods will cover how to:
- Remove ARs
- Increase usable volume of the plunger tube
- Preload the spring
- Install the Retaliator internals into a Recon
The power mods have this blaster (Retalicon?) hitting about 75ft flat as long as the darts don't swerve into the ground out of the barrel. Angled the ranges are over 100ft.
To install Retaliator internals into a Recon shell Very little work needs to be done. It only needs some of the ribs to be ground down and a plate in the back to hold the spring in while allowing the plunger rod to go through.

Manta Nite Finder
Modifications are extended draw, improved seal, spring replacement, cpvc couplers, reinforced catches, and the integration. You can still open it up for maintenance. This is a fairly old mod I did and I plan on revamping it a bit in the future.

BlasterPro Auto Fire E5000
The guys at Maya Group were nice enough to send me a Blaster Pro try out and review for the greater good of the internet.
This thing is pretty impressive. If you were turned off by Xploderz because of their lack of trigger or the tendency of the breech to destroy ammo, both of those problems have been fixed. What these things do have in common with Xploderz is a nice strong spring and big plunger tube.
Overall the great ranges and rate of fire along with a much cooler look make this blaster worth checking out.

Snapbow MKV
NF rifle with Airtech Integration
Greenwing's NF rifle with backup At3k tank and rear loading At2k turret.
The plunger tube is the same size as one in a standard Tornadobow, which is slightly larger than what is typically used in NF Rifles. It uses a skirt seal and a cut down K26 at full compression. The At2k Turret is flipped around and made rearloading.

Tech Target Internals Replacement
This mod maximizes the potential of the Tech Target while keeping the stock look. I have tried many other TTG mods such as the standard coupler, single barrel, and MDET but this is by far my favorite method.

Greenwing!
So for my first post here I figured I should introduce myself.
I go by Green Wing on all Nerf forums and GreenWing24 on youtube. I got into Nerf and started modding around 2007. I have only started to actively post my work these past few years though. On this blog I will show you guys my blasters that I think are more interesting/very well done.
I look forward to contributing more to this blog.

Panther mod by MakeItGo, 110ft
This is the Buzzbee Panther.
The reason why there is interest in this cheap looking blaster is because it is the first air tank pistol to be released in a very long time. Air tanks mean lots of power packed into a small package. With MiGs basic mods he is getting ranges of 110ft flat. All credit for this goes to MakeItGo who did this mod, took the pics and vids and was good enough to allowing me put his stuff up on my blog.

Combustion Reactor!
Turn that useless Reactor into something cool: (kids don't try this at home)
I've been a fan of this guy for a while so when I saw this I had to do my own version.

Custom Shells Using Pepakura
One thing that I have been working on for a while that I haven't seen anywhere else in nerfdom is totally home made custome shells.
Using a free program called pepakura I've printed out a and folded up a few candidates such as the covenant needler from Halo pictured to the right.
These are made using card stock then the they are to be covered in fiberglass resin and body filler where needed to get rounded instead of angular polygon edges.
The cool thing is that because of the way this program works you can pull actual models from video games and print them out and fold them into faithful replicas. More to come on this as I figure it all out.
1 Download Pepakura: The free version of the program lets you do everything but DL here
2 Find and download a model you like and re-size it if needed
3 Use 110 weight card stock anything else is going to be too flimsy
4 Print cut out the shapes and glue. You can use anything strong for glue but i prefer hot glue
5 Use fiberglass resin to coat the paper model, several coats will be needed.
More to come on this. I was on this step when my girlfriend stepped on and crushed the model I was working on to make a rayven into a halo assault rifle. So its back to the beginning for me.
Link to the software if anyone wants to join me on this little endeavor: Pepeakura!

Tomicon
I threw this together a while back. The reason I did this was because the tommy 20 shell fits URB motors perfectly. URB motors and flywheels are much more powerful than any nerf flywheel system so this thing packs a punch. At 16v it was getting over 70ft with chopped streamlines.
Oddly enough since most modders don't like flywheels the most useful part of this post for other people might be the tape I leave on the blaster. When I have blasters that need specific screws to go into specific holes I just unscrew then cover the screw port with tape so everything stays in place till its ready to be put back together.

Nerf Elite Dart Conversion
With the release of the elites and elite darts some might feel as if old
streamlines are now totally obsolete. While it is true that the new
elite darts get better range and accuracy it isn't impossible to safely
mod the old orange streamlines to fly just as good, if not better than
elite darts.
The main difference between the elite and the old streamline is that the heads post is much shorter in the elite. This makes the dart more front heavy causing less fishtailing and better range and accuracy.
You can pull out the dart head from old streamlines and simply clip the post down. This will give it the same weighting as an elite dart. When you glue the dart head back into the foam make sure that you turn the head so you spread the around the entire post so no air can escape when firing.
Elite darts are significantly lighter than the old streamlines allowing you to cut off .3g of the post to get equal wight.

Double Nerf Drum Fed Tommy 20
The Darthramballs:
This was one of the first mods I ever took on.
I used 1 or 2 9.6v RC batteries to power it. 19v + is also the reason why this ended up dead and being cannibalized for parts. When it was running it was ridiculously fun.
-Flywheels were extended with sections of PVC.
-Flywheels wrapped in electrical tape to catch streamlines.
-Mag wells are made from an old Rubbermaid bin using plastic welding. The material is somewhat flexible so it can old the drums with just friction.
To allow this to be able to fire using 2 drums I to the arm that use to turn the tommy 20 drum and turned it into a 2nd dart pusher. The two arms alternate pushing darts out of the clips into the flywheels.
