BlasterPro Auto Fire E5000

The guys at Maya Group were nice enough to send me a Blaster Pro try out and review for the greater good of the internet.

This thing is pretty impressive.  If you were turned off by Xploderz because of their lack of trigger or the tendency of the breech to destroy ammo, both of those problems have been fixed.  What these things do have in common with Xploderz is a nice strong spring and big plunger tube.
Overall the great ranges and rate of fire along with a much cooler look make this blaster worth checking out.

You had me at hello E5000.
They are going for a more adult market.  The more realistic look, the power and the line on the box making the comparison to paintball and airsoft make that obvious.

First things first, Volt mod fun time.
That zombie target these things come with felt the wrath of Li-Ion.  With some extra juice these things have a very satisfying rate of fire.

Nice big plunger tube
It is a direct plunger system but its not your typical one. That orange part coming out of the back isn't a traditional plunger rod

This orange rod is simply a guide for the spring and for the actual and actual plunger.  The black piece on the right is what is pulled back by the rack gear.

Here is what in my opinion is the best improvement over Xploderz.  The new breech has reduced the breaking of ammo to what seems to be 0 in what I have seen.
The auto mech also turns this breech system which as a rotating piece kind of like a  waterwheel which allows 1 ball in each slot.
The gap for balls to fill the slots is 2 slots wide which gives the balls more than enough time to fall into place to ensure that you don't have any blanks fired or ammo getting chopped up as it tries to enter the slots.

Here is the gear box.  The motor is a decent size but smaller than a stampede or vulcan.

I took off the blue things around the ammo as soon as I found out there are screws holding them in on the inside and stopped just trying to rip them off.

The safety needed to be held down to fire, not just a flip switch.

The safety is a physical lock, not electronic and could be removed in many ways.  I just pulled the spring out shown here.

I know some dart purest probably hate the thought of these things.  I kinda felt the same way at first but consider this:
-Yes the ammo is expendable but it comes with over 5000 rounds and if you do run out they are cheap
-You don't have to worry about losing ammo
-You don't have to pick up ammo.
-One hopper has more ammo than anyone would have on their whole body in any nerf situation.
